How I Teach Teachers
I believe great Pilates teaching is about more than delivering exercises. It is about understanding the people in front of you and helping them feel successful, confident and supported in movement.
My aim is to help teachers develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to teach safely, effectively and with empathy.
I create a supportive learning environment where teachers feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas and developing their own teaching style. Rather than creating identical teachers, I encourage each participant to find their own voice whilst maintaining safe and effective practice.
My teaching approach focuses on clear, simple cueing, strong movement foundations and practical application. Together we explore how exercises can be adapted, modified and progressed to suit different bodies, abilities and goals.
I believe Pilates should be accessible, empowering and meaningful for everybody. My goal is to help teachers leave feeling confident, capable and inspired to make a positive difference to the people they teach.
